Heart Beats Fitness Studio testing program involves a number of short fitness tests to measures a person's fitness levels by recording their physiological attributes. This is done by using a series of questions and physical tests then computing them into a single number. This number is the Fitness Age or Body Age of the member being tested.

So What is Fitness Age or Body Age? This algorithmically derived "Fitness Age" or “Body Age” represents the person's physiological condition in years. For example, an active 45-year-old individual may have a Fitness / Body Age of 35, which means their fitness level is comparable to that of a 35-year-old. However, an inactive 45-year-old may have a Fitness / Body Age of 55 or more.

In addition to this overall result, the software also produces individual scores for a number of major areas of fitness:
Cardio-respiratory, body composition, flexibility and strength. These results indicate a person's strength and weaknesses. For example, a person whose focus is solely on weight training may have an impressive strength result but a poor cardio-respiratory score. Based on these personalised scores, our fitness professionals can customize an exercise program for your needs that can produce measurable results.
